- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and egg until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix to combine well.
- Shape or scoop the dough into 2-inch balls and place them 3 inches apart on a sheet of parchment paper that will fit your air fryer.
- Dip a fork in sugar and press in a crisscross pattern on each ball to flatten until each cookie is about 2 inches across.
- Air fry for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Room temperature ingredients mix better and create superior texture. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket - cook 4-6 cookies per batch depending on size. Cookies will continue cooking slightly from residual heat after removal, so don't overbake.
