  • 1 cup granulated white sugar essential for texture
  • 1 large egg room temperature preferred

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix until just combined and smooth.
  2. Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper, trimming to fit flat. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if required.
  3. Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the parchment, leaving space between each. Use a fork to make a crisscross pattern.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 4–5 minutes until lightly golden on the edges. Do not overbake.
  5. Let cool in the air fryer basket for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Cookies will firm up as they cool.

Notes
