Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix until just combined and smooth.
- Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper, trimming to fit flat. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if required.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the parchment, leaving space between each. Use a fork to make a crisscross pattern.
- Air fry at 400°F for 4–5 minutes until lightly golden on the edges. Do not overbake.
- Let cool in the air fryer basket for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Cookies will firm up as they cool.
Notes
Add-ins like mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or spices can elevate your cookies. Use parchment to prevent sticking. Adjust time slightly based on air fryer model. For a vegan version, replace the egg with a flaxseed mixture.
