- Place your mug in the microwave and cook for 1 minute on high power. If you're adding mix-ins like chocolate chips or berries, increase the time to 2 minutes. Always use a microwave-safe mug to avoid damage.
- Carefully remove the mug using oven mitts – it will be extremely hot. Let it cool for 30 seconds before adding your toppings. The cake should spring back lightly when touched and pull away slightly from the mug's sides.
- Serve topped with butter, maple syrup, and your favorite toppings like fresh berries, sliced bananas, chocolate chips, or nuts. Enjoy immediately while warm.
